Today is a sad day. Today I discovered that one of my favorite artists, Nocturnal-Devil, is giving up most of the work he's known for. He was an excellent comic artist and had a great sense of humor. He also had a great style all his own.

Why is he giving up his comics? Religion.

What a waste. And now, another reason for me to be irritated by religion. He says that he is now closer to Allah and that the drawing of humans, animals and any animate objects is forbidden in his religion. How ridiculous.

I'm sorry, but this really bothers me. And not only did he stop drawing these things, he took them all down because he doesn't want people to remember him as a comic artist. Well, now I'll just remember him as a disappointment.

He still is an excellent artist, but I don't really care enough to watch someone for landscapes and calligraphy, which is what he says he's only going to do from now on.

Oh well, I think it's sad.

Life is going on...work is work. Tomorrow my boss and his boss and coming by and we're all having lunch. I'm just glad I'll get a free lunch.

My art has pretty much come to a standstill...with the exception of random work for my cafepress.com stuff. I have a new muse, my Red Bellied Parrot, who I've posted a couple of pics of. I want a decent camera that's not just for snapshots. I've just been so busy recently and...tired because of this.

My birthday is Wednesday. Eh.

Yeah, I haven't been too productive on here...but I did just open a shop on cafepress. I will probably not be putting the stuff from there on here...at least not first, because I'm paranoid. I mean yeah, I'm not the best out there, but who knows, something may catch on.
